Leg-cap, manual + electric comparison

Choose the adjustment method by how often the work height needs to change.

Every STK LABS bench family can be adjusted in some way. The useful distinction is how the adjustment happens and how easily the height can change after installation.

Selection guide

Use this as planning guidance, then validate the final procedure against the selected product, facility requirements and approved documents.

01

Leg-cap adjustment

A leg-cap-adjustable bench supports setup changes but requires the most effort of the three methods.

  • Best suited to work heights that change infrequently
  • Plan the final setup before loading the workstation
  • Confirm the published adjustment range on the selected product
  • Re-level the bench after changing the height
02

Manual lift

A hand-operated lift makes height changes easier without adding electric actuation.

  • Useful when occasional ergonomic or equipment changes are expected
  • Keep equipment and service loops clear through the full travel
  • Confirm the adjustment mechanism and range by model
  • Review the expected load before changing height
03

Electric lift

Powered adjustment is the easiest starting point when users or tasks need more frequent height changes.

  • Plan access to the required electrical connection
  • Check cords, data and other services throughout travel
  • Select the model by verified range and capacity
  • Keep obstructions outside the moving structure
